The Most Iconic travel destination in Sri Lanka- Coconut tree hill

 Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day civilization, Coconut tree hill is an ideal place. It is absolutely beautiful. Coconut tree hill is located on land owned by a private owner. Finding this place is not so difficult because It is on Google Maps correctly.  

From the main road you need to come along a small road which is located near to the restaurant and you can find a parking place. From this place, you need to walk to the hill through the footpath. Then you can see the beautiful Coconut tree hills. Even it is a private estate, there is no cost for entering. 

This place has a very unique natural geographical location. That's why it is very famous among tourists.  Mirissa coconut tree hill was on my hit list for a long time. It is a paradise for me and an ideal place to take plenty of photographs.  Pretty cool right? 

 However, It has a gusty breeze and the most stunning three-side sea view.  I highly recommended, Go there to see the sunset with the glistening water of the Indian ocean on a dome-shaped cliff with a bundle of Coconut trees. 

The coolest thing about the cliff is that it has red color soil. As I mentioned earlier, This Mirissa landscape is very famous on Instagram.  It is not too far from Matara town. You can easily found a tuk-tuk to go there. 

Just below the rocks, there are surfers and even the occasional turtles popping its head up to see what all fuss is about. Coconut tree hill is very crowded a lot of times. People really love to heading there to see a gorgeous sunset. 

 The best season to watch it is December to April which is on dry season. The hill has deep slop, be careful when going there on a rainy day. 

 Polhena beach is also very close to Mirissa  Polhena beach. In Sri Lanka, there are lots of things to do. As well as, lots of places to visit.
